This is the best method I’ve found so far for extracting audio from MP4 movies (such as those found at The Internet Movie Archive). Way easier than a realtime method (like Hijack or Soundflower) and less crashprone than ffmpegx(which I couldn’t get to extract anything useful). Many thanks to its author, Ron Kozlowski!

Testing.

Testing was successful. You can now point your Podcast reception client at This RSS Feed and get direct delivery of the most recent Press the Button. It’s still more than a little bit rough around the edges, since we can’t put in id3 tags (they’ll just show up with a title of “17″).

In theory a more streamlined version of this may become available, but it depends on the tools at my disposal…

Mixing/Editing… Done (I think)
Mastering… Probably needs some work
Title… Still don’t know. “Signal Processing”, “<>“, something else (comment away!)
Artwork… Have an idea for the physical run. No clue for the downloadable.
