It integrates into your iTunes playlist (though it doesn&#8217;t play DRM&#8217;d files &#8211; so be aware of that), it allows Audio Units for effects (and essentially supports AUNetReceive to allow input via Bonjour, so you can send audio to it using GarageBand and AUNetSend).
